The Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Ephrata will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday March 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Borough Offices, 124 South State Street, Ephrata, Pennsylvania.

The purpose of this hearing is to consider two separate applications.

The first application is for a special exception request for a home related business (Vending Business).  Relief is requested under section 319-28.B.9 of the Code of the Borough of Ephrata.  The subject property is located at 126 West Sunset Avenue in a Medium Density Residential Zoning District.  The owner and applicant is Diane Millhouse, 126 West Sunset Avenue, Ephrata PA  17522.

The second application is for a use variance to operate a nursery school at an existing church and a special exception for a parking reduction.  Relief is sought under section 319-28 and 319-88.B.2.d of the Code of the Borough of Ephrata.  The subject property is located at 1331 West Main Street in a Medium Density Residential Zoning District.  The applicant and owner is Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1331 West Main Street, Ephrata PA 17522.
